Honestly, I run even Bafflefield 3 with smooth framerates, and Criterion games are always silkly smooth, so I wondered if the problem is only here or there are more people struggling with performance in this game. Edit 3: There are some people saying the GTX560Ti is an old card, with unsufficient performance. Seriously, you gotta be kidding me. And what sucks is, on consoles its basically running on High Reflection Detail. I'm using a Asus GTX 670, and I have to turn it to Medium. My graphics card alone costs more than any console. There is definitely something seriously wrong here. Its running smooth for me with some settings turned down, and I am really liking the game so far.

8 Hours played and my only real issue other than optimization, is the fact that luck plays a big part in races. I win almost every race, and the only time I don't is because of the AI crashing me, or the ridiculous rubberbanding. I'm pretty much an expert at racing games, and the game forces me to crash, because of ludicrous police and other driver AI. And on one of the intros to a race, it drops you before the race starts. If you watch the entire thing, its fine, but if you skip the cutscene, your car crashes on nothing the second the actual race starts. This happened in the BAC Mono, so I guess the force of hitting the ground makes it crash?

I restarted the race 5 times to see if it would do it again, and it did, every time.
