Where to begin. Well let's start from the beginning check inn We checked in around 02.00 o clock midnight. We had a very pleasant check inn. Since I am traveling a lot I asked the hotel if it might be possible to see the rooms first,, and there was no issue regarding this. Dauda- the bellboy- really i felt sorry for him, since at that time I asked to see two rooms.
But really without any problem we got our rooms with great vieuw. Breakfast The day after we went to main restaurant Spectrum for breakfast. Really the fresh juices- well baked eggs - fresh croissants and my God the pancakes were superb!
One thing i missed: a special corner for the kids. However whatever I asked, nothing was too much for the staff. I can really say that there is a lot to choose of. Even it was eid period- the staff Always kept a smile. Housekeeping Really- the mantain the rooms perfectly clean.
Even the toys of my child has been taken special care of. Swimmingpool Great place to be- only thing I would like is that the pool would be open till 2100, instead of 2000. I love to swim in the evening, and when comming from dxb the timing of 2000 closure is to early.
Childclub This hotel has a childclub- here children can play around, even they have Minnie Mouse as a special guest! Valet Parking I would like to share my sincere thanks to the valet parking friends- Always helpfull, smiling and taking care. I had never had to wait long for my car. Another thing what i really would like to say is that being a guest in this hotel means, that you will more be treaten as a familymember. It is Always great to experience this in a hotel. My mom had hurt her arm, and within no time the in house nurse came and helped her.
And after this the staff Always were taking notice of my mom. The hotel is well located, you will find the superb beach area. Since we were having a terrace we enjoyed the view and sound of te sea. The hotelroom is huge, a seperate toilet area and a very nice rainshower- since this is a greem committed hotel, the piower is a bit less I am used to but still enjoyed each time while taking a shower. The beds are a piece of heaven. I am really missing the great bed- the matress is very thick, and even people with a bit large built body will sleep like a baby- never faced any backproblems. Really if you are looking for a great hotel, to stay with children you can easy go for Fairmont Ajman, I cant wait to be back again!
As expected from an outlet of the Fairmont 'family' the hotel is very well appointed, very nice furnished with a special touch of elegance. The room has a very comfortable, plush bed, a nice rain shower (but no shelf to put the amenities of Le Labo!), has enough space and every room has stunning sea view (we had 1202 on 12th level) and modern in-room-technology. The pool is cooled during the heavy summer months, the lifeguards very friendly and helpful, the loungers are comfy and you get enough free drinking water. The beach is not as stunning as comparable beaches in the UAE (especially no comparison to Saadiyat Island close to Abu Dhabi), but ok (unfortunately they have built a wave breaker.).
'The present chasm between the generations has been brought about almost entirely by a change in the concept of truth. Wherever you look today the new concept holds the field. The consensus about us is almost monolithic, whether you review the arts, literature or just simply read the newspapers and magazines.
The gym is state-of-the-art an we did like the sauna and steam room. There is a comfy shuttle to the bustling metropolis of Dubai.
All in all very modern, contemporary design, uncomplicated but luxurious resort atmosphere, good food @spectrum. Dear JoyTravel74, Thank you for your feedback. I appreciate you took the time. I agree, the beach cannot be compared to Saadiyat where you have an unobstructed stretch of sand that goes for miles.
In Ajman many hotels have water breakers to avoid beach erosion as the currents can be strong. The good news is that my counterparts in the other hotels and I are looking into opening up a pathway to allow for long beach walks in Ajman as well.
