Welcome to a very special Evil Sprits edition of Which One Has The Gimp? Your evil spirited Gimp possibilities include: and = = = = = The Haunting of Molly Hartley? After a very promising opening where a teenage girl (played by Canadian actress from Autopsy) to an old abandoned house, then gets, it’s downhill Gimpwise. It turned out to be only a teaser as it was her boyfriend. Damn shame too as is mighty fine!

This turned out to be a pretty good movie overall though but a little misleading in its title of “The Haunting of Molly Hartley” as there was no actual haunting per se. It’s about Molly (), whose mother tried to kill her some time earlier and is now institutionalized (the mom). The story takes up from the opening sequence with Jessica Lowndes I mentioned above, who ends up getting murdered by her father before her 18th birthday. Years later is now attempting to start anew in a new town & school, but soon starts to get the idea that her mother has escaped and is again trying to kill her. = = = = Swamp Devil?

Some Gimpage but way too minor of a segment to get you credit for anything more than a 1/8th of a correct answer. The Gimpage comes towards the very end as gets between two trees. Swamp Devil is about the lynching of a criminal years ago who has come back to seek revenge on those guilty of taking the law into their own hands. Pretty much just a creature-feature as the is the main attraction here.

= = = = Voodoo Moon? Details follow in mini review. = = = = Mini mainstream review of Voodoo Moon. In this tale of modern day holy warriors doing battle with the forces of evil.

They thought the evil was eradicated several years ago, but now the evil has returned and is bent on revenge. The two forces gather in the countryside for a final showdown.

There are three Gimp moments of interest in this one. The first has a in a full nude, nailed crucifixion. She is crucified on the ground at the feet of a Jesus statue in a church and is tape gagged. Nice segment but fairly short. The second is a similar sequence but with and shown only from the waist up in a topless segment. Nice segment but again way too short as this one is even shorter than the first.

The final segment has one of the band of good-doers. She then gets threatened with beheading but the old lady next to her gets decapitated instead. Later she is again threatened but ends up getting rescued. The appeal is limited for me as the victim is fully dressed and nothing much happens.

Entertainment wise a so-so flick. Nothing really special here.other than maybe an imaginative segment where the evil person turns into a “murder of crows”. “Murder of Crows” See, that what they call a group of crows.Evil guy.murder.oh never mind. Gimp wise, even though a very nice fully nude crucifixion, too short to get a grade any higher than a C. = = = = Well that’s it for this installment. That has to be lamest excuse for GIMP-age I've seen in a long time. Women are abducted, tied down, and then instead of fucking them like any self-respecting perv would, they drill a hole in the women's skulls and stick their dick in that! You read it right, women are fucked though bloody gashes in their heads.

Guys, women already have 2 or 3 better holes that are designed for such a purpose. Who are the morons who greenlighted this idea? --------------- JohnM: Speaking of bloody, I invested 20 bucks and downloaded today.

It was with hesitation that I did it, because too much red stuff spoils the looks of the victim. Still, it starred Samantha Jo, the red-haired sweetie-pie from Liar, so I said what the heck. And unfortunately, it didn't really work for me.

Not because of the blood, but because of the special effects, which looked like.special effects. I know you're in love with the Tinkerbell-like glow electrifying effect that you've added lately, but it's way too much, as are the array of sparks that were shooting out of her pussy while it was being shocked. That just looks phony to me. And the soldering iron effect was just the opposite. She got burned several times but only once did you spice it up with the flame up and smoke effect, which looked cool, but when it only happens one time, it's pretty obvious the rest of the burns are pretend only.

I felt this way about the previous film of yours I saw recently, Hogtie Killer 6. If you want us to believe the effects, you've gotta be consistent with them. --------------- Bring Out The GIMP on the IMDB: It was kind of a nice surprise seeing that, since we're primarily a bondage site, but then again, we do have one of the larger archives of mainstream reviews on the net. Of course, all the reviews are written by and written for perverts and sick fucks, who seek out movies based on what evil things may happen to the women in them. But hey, there's a reason those scenes were put in there in the first place. We're just more up front and honest about what we like.

No sparks would have been more realistic and saved me about 23 hours in effect work. However, this was a fantasy movie, not meant to mirror reality. In addition I provide detailed descriptions and photos for all my videos. I even made a preview showing the effects available for free at DFN, that I published several days before release. I cannot stress this enough. I am making fantasy movies.

Everything is fake. All the deaths are fetish, not reality based.

This one had way, way, way too little blood and with only 4 hours to shoot it, I could build up no silicone wound effects as I had planned. As far as the soldiering iron, the customer wanted a glowing effect. Motion tests I did determined that it would take about 50+ hours of labor just for that and with imperfect results. I left my one smoke test in for the benefit of the customer.

It did not look good, so I did not pursue it. As it stand, there is $4358 in labor with, if I did the other effects, it would have been about $15,000.

Of course, the video only cost the customer the price of the actress. Everything else I eat and hope to make it back someday. With most videos topping out at 40-50 copies sold, all the work, really, is because I try to give the customer the best product I can. So, I will say that while I agree with you on part of it, the fact of the matter is, I am producing the best thing I can, putting a lot of labor into something that for the most part, goes un-noticed. Well, except in this case--in which, your comments were directed precisely what all the labor went into.

Anyhow, thanks for them, none-the-less. Also, you commented about a Hogtie with flashy effects. That was only on Penance III, which, strangely enough, I got the most comments on proving once again the subjectiveness of this genre. And so it goes.

JohnM Monday, May 3rd 2010 - 01:54:07 AM Name: Fritz First off many thanks to all those welcoming me to the board, and also, for the positive feedback on my MOW2 review. It was a first attempt, and I know it is a bit rough around the edges.

As those who correspond with me well know, I tend to go on and on and on and on. Apologies to readers who expect Twitter sized aphorisms, but that just isn't me. I try to make up for it by posting less frequently, so maybe that will help. But for those who expect 3-sentence reviews, I'm sorry - I will surely disappoint.

Ralphus: Congratulations on running this amazing forum for eleven years plus! As I scan through the archives, I'm amazed at the variety of topics and all the useful info buried therein. I'll never get through it all, but it's impressive nonetheless.

I only wish I had come across it sooner! As for the vidcaps,,, yes, I grabbed them from the film or (in a few cases) from the supplementary material on the disk. I used Cyberlink PowerDVD, which is affordable and easy to use. Getting the HTML right was pure luck (with a big assist from you thanks!). I was pretty good with technology until the early 90s, but then the Internet came along and everything went south. The A- grade for MOW2 was based on previous reviews for the original Mark of the Whip. You gave it a B and MAV a B+.

I thought MOW2 was superior to MOW1, so I chose an A. However, the reasons for my evaluation are purely subjective (I prefer more extreme GIMP scenes and terminal tortures, criteria met by the sequel), so I assigned a higher grade. For those who prefer lesser ordeals, or are sticklers for rigging and real-world effects, the A- may seem high. Apologies if I mislead anyone. As for Maria Vaslova's whipping being 'real' that is based solely on my interpretation of the scene. The bull whip is shown biting into her flesh, and the strokes leave clearly visible red welts. I'm not a whipping aficionado, but that seems real enough for me.

However, MOW1 had similar scenes, and some folks were disappointed, so it may not be real enough for everyone. Depending on your expectations, YMMV. And thanks for adding my review to the esteemed GIMP catalog, as well as for creating the Teraz category which moves these flicks from the mainstream list. I see both FK1 and FK3 have yet to be reviewed, so I have at least two titles to consider for future efforts. Anyone interested in these?

Dr Yuya: If you've purchased GIMP videos based on one scene, then you owe it to yourself to get MOW2 - assuming the idiosyncrasies I pointed out in my review are things you can live with. As I said, MOW2 is a film aimed at GIMPers, and over half the film is GIMP material.

If you like seeing naked, busty girls bound and whipped, you'll find something in this production to make you grin. Otherwise maybe not. And yes I agree with your sentiments regarding DVD distribution. I asked the producer whether he would consider direct download via his own site or through Nicheclips. This may be in the works, but for full-length productions like MOW and the Fantom Kiler films, DVD is still the preferred option. Sloth: Much of what is in MOW2 fits my own GIMP fantasies like a glove: rebel girls being abused by a totalitarian regime; hard-bodied, busty babes; whipping scenes that go on and on; terminal tortures; even the J&B scotch. But no, I did not write this.

If I had, there would be no nuns, no Granny Clampett, and no whip addictions. But as Mick J. Would say, you can't always get what you want LTL: If you must have bondage, I can understand why the Fantom Kiler vids might not be to your liking. To my recollection, only FK2 delivers on the restraints, and even then, it is not first-rate knot work. FK3 has a tie-and-torture sequence at its climax, and in the opening scene, a hapless blonde is handcuffed and rather poorly immobilized by a rolled-up VW Beetle window. Overall, these flicks are about great-looking gals being stabbed to death in the nude. The bondage is optional.

The MOW films have considerably more bondage action, but in MOW2 it is a bit hit and miss. YikYakker: If you like glistening, stretched-out babes, you'll enjoy MOW2. In fact, I do not understand why more directors don't grasp the potential of a glycerin-filled spray bottle when filming GIMP scenes. This is especially important for fetish producers whose sole purpose is to sell clips of bound, nude girls being subjected to all sorts of merciless torments.

When faced with imminent death in a hot dungeon, girls sweat! Just like guys but it looks oh, so much better. So why not show it? Brutus: MOW1 was 'kind of' bondage themed, but the one area in which Teraz could use some assistance is in the tie-em-up department. Hell I'd even pay for a rigger on their next shoot if it would help. That said, some of the scenes in the FK flicks, and in both MOW videos, and even in the non-Teraz productions like Abducted by the Daleks, Girl in the Lift and Nina's Nightmares have bondage scenes. Unfortunately, most are not all that good.

A Canadian: Thanks for the kind words. The reason the MOW2 sequence almost brought me to tears was that it could have been perfect (for me) with only three changes: light the scene properly; use believable restraints; increase the force of the whipping. All these elements were evident in other parts of the film, so it was possible, but for whatever reason(s), not carried out here. That sort of thing drives me nuts. Judging by your moniker, I assume you are Canadian (duh) so when you say you cannot acquire MOW2 in (your) country, you anticipate that it would be seized by Customs if ordered from the US or elsewhere.

Well, I am Canadian too (based in Toronto), and I have received every one of the Teraz / Stella / Terror Perverse DVDs without a hitch. Most I have ordered directly from Sinerama (pricier, but I like to support the producers when I can), but a few times from distributors in the US.

In fact, after purchasing about 200 'fetish' and 'confiscatable' DVDs and tapes from the US, Germany, England, China and Japan, only about 5 or 6 have been seized. Trust me it's worth the risk. If you are in the Toronto area, I know of at least two rental stores which have the FK (and possibly MOW) videos in stock, so if you are in this neck of the woods, you can also rent them. Has Ralphus ever been up that early? I didn't say I was driving. My feet can't reach the pedals. I'll be catching z's in the back of the van, dreaming of torturing shapely babes wearing skintight Red Sox uniforms. Wake me up when we get there. --------------- JohnM: Wow, those cost figures were eye-popping. $4358 in labor versus a movie topping out at only 40-50 sales?

At 20 bucks a pop, assuming you got to pocket all the sales money (which I know you don't; NicheClips gets their cut) that's only $800-$1000 income. Simple math shows you taking a $3000 loss per movie, which makes one wonder how producers ever make money doing what they do. It's just one more reason why bootlegging really hurts bondage producers, because as you can see, they're often operating on a tight budget and profits (if there are any) are likely going to be miniscule.

You wrote: I cannot stress this enough. I am making fantasy movies. Everything is fake.

All the deaths are fetish, not reality based. True, but there's a point where even a fantasy scene has to have enough realism in it to be believable. Was the customer happy with the special effects in Deadly Interrogation II? I agree that no sparks would have been more realistic, would have saved you money and ultimately, it would have made your film better. The glowing Tinkerbell stun gun effect may be expensive, but is it necessarily better? Special effects that draw attention to themselves take away from the fantasy.

Rick Masters' stun gun shocking effects in Goon Squad were more subtle, and yet that was an incredibly effective scene. BTW, I don't want you to think I'm here merely to criticize. I've seen about 9 or 10 PKF films recently and for the most part, I've been quite impressed at the high level of quality I've seen from PKF Studios.

I was just editing The Good Murders (the one with ) last night for my highlights compilation DVD and I was admiring the fine job you did bringing that fantasy to life. The acting, writing, directing and especially the babe victim made that one worthwhile. It's a really nice piece of work.

Tuesday, May 4th 2010 - 02:46:12 AM Name: LTL John M, First off let me ditto Mr. Bush in saying that for the most part I've pretty much enjoyed almost all of the stuff I've seen, with an exception or two here and there. But that's the case with pretty much anyone's stuff. As far as “Everything is fake”; we know that, but we still want to get drawn in.and kept there. But I'm not talking about special effects, but rather the small details (which don't cost anything). For example, I loved “Raped & Strangled II” w/Samantha, well acted, fairly consistant intensity level, etc. I was drawn in.liked what I saw.and then the “suspension of disbelief” (I think that's the right term) was blown when Samantha starts grabbing at something.anything during her struggle and ends up pulling out a drawer of her nightstand..and it's completely empty.

I know this is gonna sound like nit-picking, and I might be the only person that would have even noticed, but at that point I was taken out of the scene (like in “Somewhere in Time”), as the bareness of the nightstand just screamed.prop. A binder, a candy bar.even a candy wrapper, something.anything.would have kept the illusion going. I know that sounds minor but I think it really is the little things that can make a good movie into a great one. Just look at Hollywood where directors are given similar budgets and one produces something great while the other makes a clearance shelf material DVD. And usually, the little things don't cost anything either.

Tuesday, May 4th 2010 - 04:40:42 PM Name: YikYakker I've seen, which seems to have many titles in both German and English.

The copy that I saw was badly dubbed, poorly transferred and (evidently) heavily edited. Download Naija Party Jams. If there was a 2-minute rack scene in it, you can bet I would have remembered it.

Foiled again by the censors. I do recall Sybil Danning as being so young, lovely and natural that I hardly recognized her. Basically, the movie falls into the category of a 'ribald adventure', although some of the 'ribaldness' was obviously removed in the English version. It also struck me as kinda wacky, not to be taken very seriously. Wish I could get my hands on an original copy. I wonder if the rack scene that Tarl mentioned is in our database?

------- I have to agree with LTL about the little things that help make a movie work. Hate to be a whiner - some of us have already posted lists of complaints about the things moviemakers do that aggravate us, myself included - but as LTL pointed out, some of these things cost little or nothing but some extra thought. It's like some producers think we won't notice. 'They won't notice that the bonds are so loose the girl can slip out of them any time she wants.' 'They won't notice that even though she's being whipped she's not breaking a sweat.' 'They won't notice that even though she's being stretched out on a rack, her elbows are bent.'

Fact is, we do notice, and these things are important. ------- Well, the continues. At this rate, she might just as well get tattooed and pierced and audition to be a >shudder.
