Aug 10, 2012. I just purchased a FWB 124 that is in fantastic condition. I thought it was a new gun hanging on the shelf at the store where I saw it.(Did not look it over well though because my boy was very hungry and I was in a rush to get him some food) I did not know what it was and went outside to look it up on my cell.

I just purchased a FWB 124 that is in fantastic condition. I thought it was a new gun hanging on the shelf at the store where I saw it.(Did not look it over well though because my boy was very hungry and I was in a rush to get him some food) I did not know what it was and went outside to look it up on my cell phone to see what it was and what it was worth etc. My phone did not have internet at that area so I decided to drive down the road a little ways and when I got internet again to look it up.

I ended up forgetting to look it up before driving all the way home (7 hours). I started looking up these guns on the internet and found out that they are great guns. I called the store the next day and asked them about the conditon etc. Since I had not looked at it closely and the person looking at it said that it looked new to them and they could not find any scratches in the bluing or scratches in the stock. I was a little suspect if it could be in that good of condition.

It arrived the next day and I was surprised at the condition. The blueing looks like new except in on place on the breech block where it is rubed from cocking. The stock does not have any deep scratches or really any scratches but has a lot of small pressure marks on it. It looks really good. Choopulu Kalisina Subhavela Maa Tv Serial All Episodes Online. It looks like a scope has never been mounted on it. I shot it a few times and the original piston seal gave way. I am ordering a kit to fix this tomorrow.

1) It has the deluxe stock. Is that the only way to tell if it is the deluxe version or were the deluxe versions also marked or stamped? Aprende A Jugar Al Poker Con Los Pelayos Pdf Merge here. 2) How do I tell the age of the rifle? It is marked on the left side Feinwerkbau-Sport 124-Cal.

4.5.177 over Made in Germany 46034 It is marked on the right side Imported by Beeman Precision Airguns Inc. Over San Rafael. California 94903 3) I read that some of the older versions had smaller compression chamber (I think).

Does mine have the smaller or the regular? (Just want to make sure that I buy the right tune kit) 4) Those of you who have installed tune kits in your guns do you like them better or did you like like them better with the original spring etc. Please let me know what kit you used and how well you like it compared to original. Any info about these guns is greatly appreciated. I am going to try to make a video of the rebuild of this rifle.

It might help someone else out some day. A couple of notes; watch reassembly of the lug so as to not cross thread-go slow, I also had to sand the new breech seal for a proper fit. I did a bit at a time over a couple of weeks to let it compress until my POI stayed consistent with no vertical stringing. This kit is smooth with no twang or harshness in mine. Velocity in the high 700 range, but as I was a newbie then, I think I should have sized the piston seal a bit also; not worth opening up again for 20-30 fps for me. I used proper screwdrivers, and great care, and left not marks at all. I am really pleased with the smoothness.

If I were to get one now I might think about the Pro Mac soft kit also. A smooth 800 fps gun is way better than a harsh, twangy 840 fps. My original spring is like new, but I never had the chance to see what the gun did with it as the seal died with less than a dozen shots. If I ever get another one of these in lesser condition, I may try it then in factory trim. Thomas (Login ) YF Answers to your questions August 11 2012, 10:12 AM.

1# Aside from the front sling swivel being built into the breech block, the deluxe stock has white spacers I. The butt pad and the grip end cap. 2# As stated by another poster its age of early to mid eighties is a good approximate as that was when Beeman was still in San Raphael. 3# Major comp tube issues are mostly involved with the early produced Sporters. A Maccarri kit or parts alone will make the Sporter shoot the way it was designed. The old school Artic kit is a fine kit indeed. Use Maccarri lines and go easy with them.
